How much does it cost to get a tattoo?

Prices vary greatly depending on style, size, and placement, the best way to obtain an estimate is to schedule a consultation with me. You can use my tattoo request form to get on my list

For a very rough idea, a post-it note-sized piece will be $180 - $240. A hand-sized piece is generally $360-$400

Is there a price minimum?

Yes, the shop minimum is $100. Per person, per tattoo.

How old do I have to be to get tattooed?

To get tattooed, you must be 18+
​
Can I get tattooed if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

You cannot get a tattoo while pregnant or breastfeeding

Can I bring a friend?
​

I do allow a plus one, but in order for me to give you my complete focus and attention, and do the best artwork I can for you, do not bring someone who might get bored or be distracting.

If you feel like you'll need a distraction, you're welcome to bring headphones and catch up on your favorite shows or zone out with your favorite music.
How can I best prepare for my tattoo?
Leading up to your tattoo session you should:

Stay hydrated
-
Moisturize the night before (not the day of)

Trim if you have a lot of hair where you’ll be getting tattooed

Exfoliate a day or two before (not the day of)

Rest
-
Eat
-
Bring snacks (for longer sessions)

Reschedule if you’re injured or sick
What not to do before a tattoo session:
-
Tattoos won’t heal well on freshly damaged skin, so anything which causes damage to the skin must be avoided.
-
That includes getting a tan, a fake tan, a sunburn, a chemical peel, or any cuts or scrapes.

On the day of the session you should:

Dress appropriately and comfortably. Prepare for a long session and dress accordingly. Avoid tight and constricting clothing. Pay some mind to where you will be getting tattooed and make sure the clothing you wear leaves the area easily accessible.

Be sober

Do not use any numbing balms or topical creams on the area being tattooed on the day you are getting the tattoo
What health precautions are you taking?

My studio is equipped with a HEPA air filter and two windows which will be open during good weather.

If you are sick, even if it's just a cold, please contact me to reschedule. I will do the same for you if I think I might be sick.

Please let me know what's comfortable for you and if you'd prefer that we wear masks.

If you’re visiting me during one of my guest spots at another shop, please refer to that shop’s health precautions and policies as well.
